Why does it succeed?  It succeeds because it addresses the heart and soul of every operation, of every organization … its people.  “People Kaizen” focuses on the people and values how they think.  Why should they wait for managers to tell them what to do and how to do it . . .  when they can learn how to identify problems and ask for – even invent -- the tools they need to fix what’s wrong?

“People kaizen”

            • humanizes the workplace

            • simplifies

            • opens eyes

            • stimulates analytical and creative thought

            • achieves results

            • inspires pull-together teamwork attitudes

            • motivates people to come to work.

“Kaizen.” The term means continuous improvement.  In fact, it is so powerful that it is the driving force behind the rise of Japan following WWII to its current status of today’s industrial colossus.  What does kaizen do?  Basically, it solves a problem that hobbles many businesses – poor, often one-way communication between executives/managers and their employees.

By encouraging real, two-way communication, kaizen opens eyes to broad views of a company’s objectives, and opens minds to new ways of achieving those objectives.
